Chilled initial notes of lemon and pine evolve into ripe pineapple and juicy white pear as the wine warms. Rich, soft, weighted entry expands over the sides of the tongue and delivers both sweet, ripe, and constructed tart flavors of casaba melon and pear with hints of crème brulee. The intrigue of this chardonnay is a very complex balance of fruit, spice, lush texture, and beautiful acidity. Pair with spicy crab cakes with a lemon aioli.
